The Strategic Plan project will assist the organisation to develop priorities and actions to enable
the Queensland wine industry to continue to grow and produce high quality wines.

To find out about the project and share your views please note the regional visits are occurring on
the following dates:

  • South Burnett Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 August 2024
  • St George, Tuesday 20 August 2024
  • Sunshine Coast, 28 August 2024
  • Granite Belt, Focus Group session on Thursday 29 August 2024, Register 5.30, Session 6.00 – 7.30pm
  • Mt Cotton / Mount Tamborine / Canungra, Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 September 2024
  • Childers / Dingo Creek, Sunday 8 and Monday 9 September 2024

Project overview

The purpose of this project is to develop a Strategic Plan for QWIA to guide their actions over the next five years. An important element of this project is engagement with the sector to understand their issues, concerns and priorities.

To facilitate the pursuit of excellence in the production of Queensland wines, encourage the promotion of Queensland wines, and to deliver leadership to the Queensland Wine Industry.
