Hot off the 2018 vintage, the Queensland winemakers are already thinking ahead about which wines will be celebrated at the 35th Annual Queensland Wine Awards.
This gala evening is not to be missed by wine aficionados, supporters of the Queensland wine industry, and the wine producers themselves.
The Queensland wine industry is unique in Australia as having the highest proportion of boutique wineries producing the majority of Queensland wine. This means that you are tasting the fruits of small businesses who strive for perfection in their yearly vintages.
QWA18 has settled into the Hotel Grand Chancellor for the wine judging to take place in preceding days, culminating in a celebration of the award winners. Guests will enjoy selected wines with their three-course dinner, followed by music and dancing.
